来自加拿大的民谣创作歌手DAVID USHER大卫艾许，最为人熟知的角色就是加拿大另类摇滚乐团 「MOIST」 的主唱。1992 年，DAVID USHER 与吉他手MARK、Keyboard 手 KEVIN组成了 「MOIST」 这个另类摇滚乐团。曾在 1994 年发行 【SILVER】专辑，1996 年发行【CREATURE】专辑以后，他暂别歌坛，直到 1998
年再度现声歌坛，发行他的个人首张专辑【LITTLE SONG】。之后，DAVID USHER 于2001 年发行 【MORNING ORBIT】专辑，这可以说是一张让加拿大现代摇滚名
人齐聚一堂的作品，专辑收录多首好歌，除了DAVID USHER重新改编翻唱了TRACY TRAPMAN的「FAST CAR」，让乐迷们耳朵为之一亮外，专辑开场曲「HOW ARE YOU
」也充份表现出他想表达的成熟圆润、朴实无华，而又值得深思的现代摇滚曲风。而最为乐迷熟悉与欢迎的歌曲『BLACK BLACK HEART』，是由DAVID USHER谱曲创作，这首带点阴沉与神秘、与正义感对抗的歌曲，也是刘若英、黄力行合唱的『分开旅行』英文原曲。而这张获得加拿大朱诺奖的专辑也拥有破百万张的销售佳绩，证明DAVID USHER的才华与实力都备受肯定。
